She's a Keeper.

Okay. The decision has been made. Thank you to those of you who gave your opinion as to whether or not we should let Maggie stay. I was reminded that she is a "puppy" she will grow out of her peeing, pooping, and chewing stages. (Well she will still do the first two, but hopefully outside!)

But how can you look into the face of this brown eyed girl and say "you can't live here"

She is currently chewing up a box in my office, just finished barking so loud that she woke up my youngest, and has moved on to attacking a pink, larger than she is, chicken-like animal that was purchased by her former owners...she is home.

Should she stay or should she go now.....

This is Maggie....the dog, not the child. She recently came to live with us. She is sweet, adorable, and oh so cuddly....but she is also a puppy, who lives in a house with 3 children under the age of 4. She pees inside, outside, and just recently pooped on our couch. Making my husband and I rethink this whole puppy thing.

So the voting has begun...should she stay or should she go?
Let me give you some quick facts to help sway your vote one way or the other..

1. We are putting in a fence so that she can have her own yard to run and play. It will be completed this week...

2. If we give her away, it will be her third home in 3 weeks.

3. My kids could possible be heartbroken...

4. My carpet cleaning bill will go down.

5. My hours of sleeping will go up.

6. The dream of my kids growing up with a dog, will go away.
7. My husband and I are HUGE dog lovers...

Fun Monday

Here's the assignment. For those of you who did NOT post a picture of your view from your front door, then your assignment is to post a view from your front door. To do this you stand in your doorway looking outside and take a picture. That simple. We (I) want to see what you see when you look out your front door.
For those of you who DID post your view, link back to that post you posted a year ago, and then re-list your very first post ever. We want to see how far you've come baby! Also, if you can, post the comments you received on that post.

Well outside our door, is not very exciting...in fact, it is not supposed to be our front door anymore...up until this past Saturday, you would have seen a "For Sale" sign in front of our house...we recently took it off the market...since in 8 months it obviously didn't sell...

If you peek around the corner of our house, you will see a new fence being built, by Juan, our local handyman...who even works in the rain. We are using this fence to entice a new family to buy our home...a yard...is what we are told will sell our home...along with new flooring, new paint, pictures of my adorable children added here and there...etc. At least that is what the interior designer we hired told us...6 months ago.

Fun Monday

I have joined a group of bloggers who have created a "Fun Monday" This is my first time being a part of it, and I think the topic for this week is great!

A website that has changed your Life...Holy Cow! Only one website has ever changed my life dramatically...http://www.shiningstarsingles.com/

This is where Paul and I met almost 10 years ago...dating on-line was still pretty new...risky and looked at strangely by others...but hey, I was young single and lived in a town where there weren't very many prospects...let alone anything to do on a Saturday night besides surf this new thing called the Internet...so after a few attempts, I finally met someone who peaked my interest longer than a few e-mails. We never sent pictures or talked on the phone. We just e-mailed each other at least two times a day for over a month....then...we met. And I knew on that very first date that he was "The One" we dated for 2 years and have been together ever since...coming up on 8 years of marriage...there is even an article about us on their website...http://www.shiningstarsingles.com/dp.asp?section_id=2&post_id=18101

Check it out...it is when our first daughter Mia was a couple of months old...so...there it is...a site that changed my life!

Delurking Week

Okay...although I know I don't have any readers..I, myself, read other blogs and have found out that today is "Deluker Day" and even better it is "Delurker Week" So..if you are here...come out of the woodwork, show thyself to be true...and post a comment. Because ever since I put that visitor counter on my page, the number has been arisin'!
I know that this blog is mainly for my personal entertainment purposes..but hey maybe someone else is getting some laughs too.

Laurie and Jason's wedding

The girls had a BLAST at my cousin Laurie's wedding...here is the cutest picture of Mia and Sarah together and Emma...right before we went to the wedding. My Mom bought them their matching dresses. Sarah and Mia danced all night with their 12 other cousins who were also at the wedding..imagine 15 kids, all under the age of 11. It was a wonderful time, and I wish we all lived closer to be able to get together more often...Congratulations to the lucky couple, Laurie and Jason!

Tea With Thee

We bought a "Tea Party" at a silent auction last year...we were finally able to go. It was at the home of a pre-school teacher at Mia's school. Mia invited a friend, Bree, and her mother Kimberly. We had a great time drinking chocolate caramel tea, eating sandwiches and tea cookies...the girls had a blast dressing up in hats, costume jewelry, boas, and gloves. Here are some pictures from our little tea.
